I did not use your solution - have not interest in restarting in Safe mode or re-downloading software again. I am able to spell check normally, and Word checks as I write. That user's concern actually was withĪutoCorrect. That is not the same as the thread you cited. as you type features of Spelling & Grammar. No disrespect, but if your concern is with spelling errors not being marked the issue is with theĬheck. It's also likely that starting the Mac in Safe Mode is a waste of time which will provide anything of a useful nature for something of this nature. Please don't follow Ivy's suggestions delete anything until you clarify what the problem actually is :-).
